China Panel Furniture
Requires Huge Amount
of Wood-based Panel

China panel furniture industry requires huge amount of wood based panel, according to Chinese furniture industry exports analysis, wooden furniture occupied 70% of furniture products, solid wood furniture 40% of wooden furniture, and panel furniture 60%. The huge output of Chinese wood-based panel supports the relevant downstream industries -- furniture and wood flooring. According to data from China National Forest Products Industry Association that in Chinese wood-based panel market share, furniture consumed about 60%, wood flooring 7%, construction 20% and packaging 8%. Panel furniture industry is the biggest consumer of China wood-based panel. Especially for most of the panel furniture manufactures who require high quality fiber board and particle board, with most imported from overseas markets.
