Visit the custom and railway port and factories in Suifenhe city
Had meeting with the officials of the custom at Suifenhe Port, last year there were 3.24 million cubic meters of logs and lumber imported through the port. Thereinto there were 3.17 million cubic meters of logs. There are two kinds of ports in Suifenhe city, one is road port and another is railroad port. The import timber volume is increasing by 50% per year. There are more than 260 cars that go through this port per day, 80 percent above is timber.

Visited Jixin Wood Industry, which has forest and sawmill in Russia, and export most of their wood product to USA, South Korea, Japan etc. It imports 100 thousand cubic meters of logs from Russia per year.
