He graduated from Beijing Jiaotong University with doctor degree in economics and post doctorate
from Institute of Quantitative & Technical Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His research field: theory, method & application of economic model, annual & quarterly economic model of China, analysis & forecast of economic index, problems out of transform progress of traditional planning economy to market economy. Currently, he is the director of Economic Model Division.

The Institute of quantitative and technical economics of CASS grew out of the institute of technical economics, which was founded on January 18th, 1982.
It has a staff of 86, and 74 of it are research personnel. We have 18 researchers and 24 associate researchers. There are 2 specialties (quantitative economics and technical economics) for doctoral candidate in the IQTE. We have postdoctoral programs and 10 doctoral supervisors.
It has a good cooperation relationship with many domestic and foreign research organizations and wins a wide fame. Their programs include ¡°Analysis and Forecasts of China¡¯s Economic Situations¡± supported by China State Council Ministry Fund, economic evaluation of ¡°Three Gorges Dam Project¡±, ¡°South-to-north water diversion project¡± and ¡°Beijing-shanghai railway project¡± etc. They also make plans of industry and area development for our government departments. |
