Mr. Zhang Senlin is currently the chairman of China National Forest Product Industry Association (CNFPIA). He graduated from NanjingForestryUniversity in 1975 majoring in Forestry, in 1992 he completed a course in the training class of Georgia Institute of Technology, USA and in 2001, and he completed a training course of modern enterprise management in China National School of Administration. He has more than 30 years working experience in forestry management and published more than 10 papers in several publications, such as China Forestry Newspaper, Forestry Economy and Forestry Chemistry and Industry and so on.

  Association introdution
 

China National Forest Product Industry Association (CNFPIA), founded on 11 March 1988, is a non-profit juridical association registered in the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People¡¯s Republic of China. The competent department for business of CNFPIA is the State Forestry Administration (SFA, former Ministry of Forestry), which gives direct guidance to the business of CNFPIA. A number of branch organizations were set up under the Association, including Plywood Special Committee, Flooring Board Special Committee, Bamboo Working Special Committee and Wood Drying Special Committee.

The Association has over 1000 institution members, subordinated to such various sectors as forestry, light industry, goods & materials circulating, construction & building industries distributing over all provinces across China. The main products include sawn wood, plywood, fiberboard, particleboard, flooring board, doors, windows, various further processed product based on panels, bamboo-based panel, various bamboo products, wood pulp, rosin, tannin extract, active carbon, furfural, shellac, natural flavor, Chinese tannin and other forest chemical products.
