　　From August 7-9, Mr. Hongfan Li, the CEO of China Wood International, attended Manzhouli trade fair 2002 by the invitation from the local government of Manzhouli city. During the trade fair, Mr.Li publicized the Sino-Russia Wood Trade & Investment Conference to Russian companies and related government organs widely and invite them to attend SRWTC 2002.
　　The state representatives like Chita State of P.R of Buliyate, KLM regions etc. expressed their warm interest about the conference of SRWTC 2002, and they said that will organize Russian companies to attend it.  
　　During this promotion activities, we realized the following through talking with Russian companies and the government representatives,
　　1,They think that the agenda and the topics of the conference are very good, and it will be a high-level international conference.  
　　2, Many Russian companies have great interest in the conference of SRWTC 2002. The attendees of the conference will be CEO of its kind from big Russian companies.  
　　3,Russian companies hope to establish direct contacts with Chinese manufacturers of wood products and furniture, or other direct buyers.
　　4,Especially Russian companies welcome Chinese companies to go to Russia to invest and establish wood-processing factories and do further wood process.   
　　5,Russian local market has great demand in Chinese building materials like decorative particleboard, plywood etc.
　　Therefore, we hope Chinese companies to make full use of our trade promotion plan and attend the upcoming conference of SRWTC 2002, learn more about the current state of Russian wood trade, the trend and methods, then catch hold of business opportunities in Russian at low cost.

Establish contacts with different state government positively

Invite vice mayor of Chita city to lead Russian companies to attend the conference		  
The chief of Chita state international cooperation thought the conference is very good. He expressed that he will lead Russian companies of Chita state to attend it. Also he will help us to contact other states’ government organs and organize them to attend it. 		 
The chairman of the Belga Agriculture & Forest Group eagerly asked us to help them to find Chinese companies so that they will go to Russia to establish wood processing factory of wood product and furniture. And there have a lot of high-quality timber to be sold to China.

The chairman of KLM trade union expressed he will lead Russian companies to attend our conference. Also he invited Mr.Li to attend the trade fair dated October 1 in Russian. He will arrange Mr..Li to present and introduce our conference on the trade fair. 		 
“Discuss with the well-known News & Advertisement Weekly”from Siberia and the Far East area and they decided to help us promote our conference  		  
The building materials traders from KLM state told us that not only Chinese companies can buy Russian timber, but also Russian companies need a lot of particleboard and furniture product from China

Mr.Li invited Mr.. Vladimr Maltsev，the chairman of trade union from Chita, to organize the Russian companies of that state to attend the conference. There is a very good prospect for wood trade between Chita State and China.
  
The gentleman has a large area of forest, he hope us to find Chinese companies who can cooperate with them to harvest logs and export to China, there are many opportunities of this kind.
