China Wood Floor Set a Foothold in Central Asia

The incomplete statistic showed that the wood export to central Asia amounted to 3.8 million m3 merely in the second half of 2006. The trend was gaining in at the speed of 15—20% each month. Not only the amount of the export surged, but also most of the exports were middle-class or top-grade products. The economy of those countries has just recovered and is gaining speed right now. The market potential is immense and the export expectation is optimistic in the long run. 

The popularity of China’s wood floor in the central Asia is mainly dues to 2 reasons: the first is their booming economy permits the bloom of the construction and decoration; the second is the convenient transportation and comparative low cost, which has attracted lots of provident proprietors to invest in Xinjiang Province in order to expand central- Asian market.
