In the first 8 months in 2008, China’s exporting and importing volume of wood building products both reduced, while remained a trade surplus of $ 0.45 billion .

In the first 8 months in 2008, the total importing volume of wood building products in China was 1163.4 tons, which reduced by a proportion of 30.02% compared to1662.5 tons of the same period of last year. The importing sum of it was $ 2.505 million, which on the contrary increased by 26.77% compared to $ 1.976 million of the same period of last year. The unit importing price of it was $ 2153.17 which hiked by 81.16% compared to $ 1188.57 of last year.

In the first 8 months in 2008, the total exporting volume of wood building products in China was 0.23584168 million tons which reduced by 11.3% compared to 0.26589072 million tons of the same period of last year. The exporting sum of it was $ 0.4535508 million, which reduced by 4.25% in a little range compared to $ 0.4736759 million of the same period of last year. The unit exporting price of it was $ 1923.12  which increased by 7.95% compared to $ 1781.47 of last year.
