A recent quoted price of finger joint glulam in Guangdong market manifested that the price of average species reduced greatly, while the price of high quality speices increased. The unit price of  1220×2440×15 finger joint fir glulam (both sides, with knots and ash) reduced RMB 1 yuan from RMB 98 yuan, and that of 1220×2400×18 one reduced RMB 2 yuan from RMB107 yuan. There is still a lacking for (single side, without knots and ash) finger joint fir glulam. However,  the unit price of 15cm (single side, with knots & ash) glulam was RMB 122 yuan, which increased RMB 4 yuan, and that of 18 cm one was RMB 145 yuan, with RMB 5 yuan higher. The unt price of  finger jont pine glulam (both sides, without knots and ash) remained the same which was RMB 3500 yuan.

Different from (with konts and ash) finger joint fir glulam, the one without ash has a higher demand on the quality of squared timber, and the one without ash is mostly applied in surface decoration with the natrual figure of fir on it. Therefore, the difference of price will be enlarged betwwen high quality and average finger joint fir glulam.
