Since Nov. 1st, China starts to impose tariff on the products exported in a manner of small trade. This policy adjustment has had great impacts on most of the enterprises of boarder trade, especially on thoses enterprises that import timber in a manner of small trade. It is estimated that the cost of imports will continue to increase, thus may probably lead to a break off of trade. At present, the volum of timber imported through ErlianHaote port reduced by 80%.
