The importing volume and value of Erlianhaote Port (Neimengu Province) made a break-through in the first ten months, reaching 0.4023 million m3 and $ 76.6809 million respectively up by 26.15% and 68.71% compared to last year. This situation may resort to two reasons: one is along with the readjustment of Russias timber exports policy, the zero tariff policy stimulate Chinas imports; the second is there is still a big lack for timber in Chinese domestic market, thus Russias polcy readjustment cannot arrest Chinas enthusiasm in importing Russian timber.
