Shortly,  Harbin Administrative Bureau for Industry & Commerce has conducted selective examination for 40 batches of wood-based panel samples, and only 23.8% of them are proved qualified. The products being selectively examined include blockboard, MDF, plywood and decorative wood-based panel. The problems with those unqualified products are mainly the content of formaldehyde, the quality of panle core, moisture content and surface abrasiveness of lumber.
