Chinas first bamboo industry intellectual property alliance – Nanlin Bamboo Industry Intellectual Property Alliance was set up at Anji by China Forestry Industry Association Bamboo Professional Committee on February 26, 2009. Through the hard work of alliance and enterprises, China won the lawsuit of Sino-US bamboo flooring patent litigation.

Power Dekor accelerated the layout of global industry chain in 2009, by selling its own brand, merger and acquisitions, OEM and other methods to expand international market. Compared with 2008, sales volume of overseas market of Power Dekor increased 250% in 2009. 6¡¢Markor Took Over Schnadig with 30 million U.S. Dollars
Markor International Furniture Shares Co., Ltd signed a purchase agreement with a US furniture company – Schnadig on January 6, 2009. Markor bought the net operating assets and corresponding liabilities, with a total investment fund of about 30 million U.S. dollars. Markor Furnishings thus become the owner of the Schnadig brand.

9¡¢China Developed a New Formaldehyde-free Wood-based Panel Successfully
In May of 2009, Shandong Yanggu Senquan Board Co., Ltd. released a new formaldehyde-free wood-based panel in China. It is said that this wood-based panels used renewable resources soy bean meal as raw materials instead of formaldehyde, and passed the examination of National Panel Inspection Center.
